About Us
About Us
We established our rare breed Farm in Sussex in 2004, a working farm specialising in breeding pedigree rare breed animals. We also grew herbs for florists and vegetables for our fruit and veg box scheme in our walled garden. We moved to Kent in 2007 and in 2011 launched Chunkypumpkin to deliver our own unique products and fresh Kent produce nationwide
We moved to Kennington in 2012 into the 19th century building which is known locally as Knotts off licence. We spent 4 years renovating the building to create a beautiful Tearoom & Shop
We are a family business and proud of our delightful team. Our amazing staff have made it possible for us to adapt and grow from our tentative beginnings. We have created a wonderful new space for our customers to come and choose food to takeaway or eat in and we have a new courtyard at the front of the tearoom to eat outside when the weather allows
Our Shop & Takeaway
Our delicious food and drinks are all made in house, for you to eat in or take away. In warmer weather our customers can sit outside in our pretty courtyard. We have many tables in our shop and tearoom for you, we advise that you book before you come. Our tables seat up to 4 guests and we can take reservations for 6/7 guests in our larger area.
We have put in place strict safety measures following Government guidelines to ensure every process, at every stage, from making your
food in our kitchen at Williams & Thomas in Kent to packing your food, keeps our team and our customers safe. We source everything from companies who we know follow the same guidelines. Thank you
Our Catering Services
When you have a crowd to feed, whether its a celebration with friends and family, a charity or business event we can cater for everything! from 10 to 300 guests . . . .
We can provide the food, all you have to do is unwrap. Everything will be delivered in lovely dishes, bowls, pretty plates, tiered stands, whatever the occasion requires. We send full instructions for heating and any last minute dressings & garnishes (all included) to add
We no longer cater for group bookings in our Tearoom.
We are happy to quote to give you an idea of the price for something you may be considering. There are no set menus, we will discuss with you the food you would like and can suggest ideas, we always take into consideration the guests you are catering for and if they have any food allergies. We can provide food for coffee mornings, Traditional Afternoon Tea on lovely tiered stands, an entire weekends food if you have guests staying, food to travel with if you are staying away, light lunches, evening meals, parties, picnics, canapes, nibbles & munchy things . . . . . . .
